Full construction permits were recently issued for a three-story residential building at 5019 S Indiana Avenue in Bronzeville. Owned by Scott Allbright, the project will comprise of three total units and a detached house. These new structures are set to replace a currently vacant lot.

Gary Wands of Door Thirteen Architects is the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been revealed, and it is unknown if the structure will be frame or masonry.

No on-site parking has been indicated. However, other nearby transportation includes bus access for Route 15, a two-minute walk south to the 51st Street & Indiana intersection. Further service within a 10-minute walk includes Route 29 to the southwest, Route 3 to the east, and Route 47 to the north. Those looking to board the CTA L Green line will find 51st station via a three-minute walk southeast. Additionally, those looking for the Red Line will find 47th Ave station station via a 20-minute walk northwest.

Nearby green space is accessible via the northwest corner of the 372-acre Washington Park, as well as Harding Playground Park to the northeast and Robert Taylor Park to the northwest.

Allbright Construction, LLC is the general contractor for the $450,000 development, whose completion date has not yet been revealed.
