Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 2633 N Emmett Street in Logan Square. 2633 N Emmett LLC is the filing owner and developer, whose plans include four total units, a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, front and rear decks on the first and second floors, and a detached four-car garage with a separate rooftop deck. The project is set to replace a two-story frame residence and detached garage.
John Hanna of Hanna Architects is the listed architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been published, and it is unknown if the design will be frame or masonry.
Nearby public transit can be found within a two-minute walk south to the CTA L Blue Line at Logan Square station, with accessory stops for Routes 56 and 76. Additional access to Route 82 can be found via a five-minute walk northwest to the Kimball & Diversey/Milwaukee intersection.
Several outdoor spaces lie within the area, including Logan Square Park via a four-minute walk southeast and Unity Park via a six-minute walk west. A collection of retail and dining options can also be found within a five-minute walk along N Milwaukee Avenue.
Panoptic Group Incorporated is serving as general contractor for the $1,177,600 construction, whose anticipated completion timeline is not yet known.
