Permits Issued for 3201 N Western Avenue in North Center

Conditional construction permits have been issued for 3201 N Western Avenue in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, where a single-story community facility building is planned.

The site sits adjacent to the triple intersection of N Western Avenue, W Belmont Avenue, and N Clybourne Avenue. While the address did not indicate a specific parcel of property, permit details as well as the surrounding addresses suggest the planned address is along the southern side of W Belmont Avenue at a currently empty lot.

Also at the triple intersection are a series of bus route access points, including route 77, route 49, and the 49 express route. Nearby CTA L access includes a 23-minute walk northeast to the Brown Line’s Paulina station. A seven-minute walk north is also Lane Tech College Prep High School and Clark Paylot Park.

The owner, listed under Western Belmont LLC, is planning dental clinician space across the building’s single story. The architect of record is Jon P Talty of OKW architects. However, no renderings for the project have been listed.

Novak Construction is serving as the general contractor for the project. A full completion timeline has not yet been revealed.
