Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 1455 W Roscoe Street in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood. The site resides just south of the CTA L Brown Line, steps from the intersection of W Roscoe Street and N Greenview Avenue.
Nearby bus transit includes a three-minute walk west to the Ashland & Roscoe stop for bus route 9. For rail transit, the closest CTA L access includes a four-minute walk east to Southport station, serviced by the Brown Line.
Running north and south past Southport station is N Southport Avenue, containing a variety of commercial options. Heading east in the other direction is a six-minute walk to N Lincoln Avenue, also containing a wide selection of commercial options, including an XSport Fitness and a Whole Foods Market.
The developer, 1453-55 W Roscoe Street LLC, is planning two units across the three floors. Additional features include a basement, a private roof deck, and a detached garage for two cars.
The architect of record is Christopher Boehm of 360 Design Studio. Renderings have not yet been revealed.
V & M Development, Inc. is the general contractor for the $500,850 project. A completion date has not been announced.
