Structural work has reached the second setback for 320 S Canal Street, aka BMO Tower, a 50-story office skyscraper located in West Loop Gate. Planned by Riverside Investment & Development and Convexity Properties, the 727-foot-tall tower will establish a prominent new peak in downtown’s southwest corner. The development will support 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space, along with features such as floor-to-ceiling windows, finished ceiling heights reaching up to 12 feet, and private terraces on select floors.
Construction is nearing the vertical halfway mark for the 50-story BMO Tower, set to extend the Chicago skyline further southwest into West Loop Gate. Located at 320 S Canal Street, the 727-foot-tall edifice ranks ninth in YIMBY’s end-of-year countdown of tallest new developments.
The structure for the BMO Tower continues its ascent at 320 S Canal Street, a 50-story office building in West Loop Gate. Designed by Goettsch Partners and developed by Riverside Investment & Development along with Convexity Properties, the 1.5 million-square-foot development is located on a full-block site directly south of the 1925 Union Station headhouse.
