The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 116-138 S Paulina Street in the Near West Side. Sitting just east of the United Center and replacing a vacant lot often used for event parking, the project will be the new home for City Church Chicago. The large multi-phase development is being led by the church with Indiana-based Hutton & Hutton working on its design.
Detailed plans have been revealed for the first phase of the City Church Chicago redevelopment at 138 S Paulina Street in the Near West Side. Sitting just east of the United Center on the corner W Adams Street, we initially covered its zoning application back in 2023. The project is being led by the aforementioned church with initial designs produced by Indiana-based Hutton & Hutton.

Located on the northwest corner with W Adams Street and bound by the CTA Pink Line tracks to the west, the proposal will replace a vacant lot bound by a surface parking lot to the north. Now City Church Chicago is moving forward with plans for a multi-phase complex in the works for multiple years, though no architect has been mentioned.
