Honore tapped local firm Kennedy Mann who has been working on the design of the redevelopment, turning the four-story building into 47 residential units. Spanning 45,000 square-feet, the timber building will shed its current retail space on the ground floor in exchange for a residential lobby and tenant storage.

Of these, nine will be considered affordable spread across all floors. Some apartments along the rear will have their own balconies, while others will have private terraces.

  1. This one bears watching. If done right, it could be an outstanding homeownership opportunity. The only minus I see is no secure, covered parking.

    • It’s a pretty transit-rich area with a lot of free street parking around, so maybe not the right one to bring a car with if you’re concerned? It wouldn’t be as outstanding of a homeownership opportunity if they reduced the number of units in it to store cars inside – parking isn’t free.
