A new construction permit has been issued for a multi-family residence located at 1530 West 18th Place in Pilsen. The permit was applied for on September 11 and issued on November 25, after a processing time of 75 days.
The project involves the construction of a three-story building with a composite wood roof deck, 42″ high parapet wall, and a three-story rear deck with stairs. The building will house three units, with Unit 1 located in the basement and first floor, Unit 2 on the second floor, and Unit 3 on the third floor with access to the roof deck. A new three-stall parking area with a treated wood guardrail fence on three sides will also be included.
The total fee for the permit is $3,941, with $375 paid and $3,566 remaining unpaid. The reported cost of the project is $600,000. Plans were self-certified by architect Thomas Budzik. Construction is being led by owner DMC Properties LLC.
