Demolition is complete for Lake View Lutheran Church at 835 W Addison Street in Lake View. Now, attention turns to Lakeview Landing, as the crew from Powers & Sons Construction begins work on the residential development’s foundation.

We were here exactly one month ago after demolition work had just gotten started. As you may recall, Lakeview Landing will be a six-story, 37-unit affordable housing development designed by Weese Langley Weese. All 37 units will be one-bedroom, 575-square-foot living spaces. The construction permit for this was issued by the City of Chicago back in December of last year.

Residents of Lakeview Landing will be within one block of CTA bus service for Routes 8 and 152. Route 36 is available three blocks to the east. Three blocks to the west is the Addison Red Line platform.
