Construction progress has risen to the second level for a new residential development at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in North Center. The five-story, 68-unit apartment building from developer and general contractor Longford Construction received its foundation permit on August 18 of last year, followed by the full building permit on November 1, 2023.
Designed by SPACE Architects + Planners, the rental project will include 28 parking stalls and three units of commercial space on the ground level. Four buildings — 3914, 3918, 3920, and 3930 North Lincoln — were demolished to clear the way for the new development. As you can see from the renderings, the building will have facings on both Lincoln Avenue and Damen Avenue on its wedge-shaped lot.
Residents of 3914 N Lincoln Ave will be within a one-block walk to the 50 Damen and 80 Irving Park buses. The CTA Irving Park L station, serving Brown Line trains, is about a three-block walk to the east.
