What Could Chicago Look Like in 2030?

YIMBY has a snapshot of what Chicago could look like ten years from now, based on a list of developments at different stages. Several of the projects are much more plausible and already underway, whereas others are still conceptual.

It is unlikely that this exact list will come to fruition, but while it is always possible some projects could be scaled back or cancelled, new ones of varying scope will likely be added. Additionally, the above rendering represents just a sample of the total Chicago-area developments that are under construction, planned, or in the pipeline.

    What is Nema Phase 2? Is that real? I thought Nema tower was originally a 2-tower design but was scaled back to just 1 tower.
