Exterior work is steadily progressing for a six-story apartment building known as Motif on Belden, located at 2845 W Belden Avenue in Logan Square.
The 100-unit project is being developed by Inland Group. Apartment sizes will range from studios through one-bedrooms. Units will come with a range of features including vinyl plank flooring, high-speed fiber internet, Whirlpool appliances, large walk-in closets, expansive windows, and balconies in select units.
Residents will also find various amenities throughout the building, including a fitness center, controlled-access garage parking, bike parking with a repair station, a dog park, and a pet spa. Atop the building will also be a sprawling rooftop deck with lounge areas, a fire pit, and grilling stations.
Fitzgerald Associates Architects is behind the design, whose facade will incorporate a mix of brick, stone, and metal paneling. Along many of the units will also be hanging metal balconies.
The site lies within a minute’s walking distance of the Milwaukee & California bus intersection, with service for Routes 56 and 94. Slightly further via a four-minute walk northwest is additional service for Route 74. The development is also in close proximity to the CTA L Blue Line, with the closest access at California station via a three-minute walk southeast.
LG Construction is serving as the general contractor. Since YIMBY’s update late last year, the topped-out structure has seen steady progress on its exterior walls and some facade elements near its base. At this point, it is unknown when the project will be ready to open, although the marketing website indicates delivery is “coming soon.”
