Jack Properties LLC of Chicago is the owner and developer, using plans drawn up by architect Charles Schwartz. Details include steel decks at the rear of the two upper floors, connected to the first-floor concrete patios by steel stairways. There will be no basement levels. Detached three-car masonry garages will be built off the alley at the back of the lots, which will be accessed from beneath the passing elevated rail tracks. Crown Construction Company of Oak Lawn is designated as the general contractor.
Two additional three-flats were permitted last month for an empty lot half a block north at 4545-4547 North Prairie Avenue. Those units are being built and designed by a different development team.
