A permit has been issued by the City of Chicago allowing construction on an affordable development at 4531 West Washington Boulevard in West Garfield Park. Corinth Temple Church of God, together with United For Better Living, applied for a permit to build C.A.R.E. Manor back in March 2024; it came through on November 13 with a reported cost of $15 million.

Triad Consortium Ltd is named as the architect of record. The three-story building will contain 44 dwelling units and 23 surface parking spaces accessed from the public alley off Kenton Avenue. An outdoor playground next to the parking lot is also part of the plans. The U-shaped structure will have exterior stairways and landings at the rear of each section, but no elevators. GMA Construction is named as the general contractor.

C.A.R.E. Manor is located within a block of CTA bus service at West Madison Street via Route 20. A three-block west to the intersection of Madison and Cicero Avenue leads to stops for the Route 54 bus and the 392 Pace bus. The nearest elevated train platform is the Cicero Green Line at Cicero and Lake Street, which can be reached by taking a northbound Route 54 bus.
