The first of a pair of three-story with basement, two-unit residences has been permitted for the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue in Wicker Park. The entity of 2341-43 W Saint Paul Ave LLC is named as the property owner. They applied for two permits on April 29, with the first approval for 2343 West St. Paul coming through on May 12. The second permit, for 2341 West St. Paul, is still pending in the Chicago Data Portal.

Site context, via Google Maps
Plans for the homes were created by 360 Design Studio, and V & M Development of Evanston will serve as the general contractor. Both permits allow for rooftop decks atop the third floor, with rear porches on the first and second levels. Each lot will have its own two-car garage, and those will also include roof decks. Ornamental fencing will be erected in front of the properties, with fencing installed behind them. The reported construction cost for the first build is $756,000. It is anticipated that each building will contain one duplex-down and one duplex-up for-sale condominium.
The parcel is bound by St. Paul Avenue, alleys to the south and west, and a surface parking lot for the condo development next door to the east. A single-story brick industrial building on the site will need to be removed before construction begins, but that has not yet been permitted.
