Pro-Homes received a construction permit on April 21 to develop a four-story, three–unit building on the premises. The design by Michael Cox & Associates includes a basement and rooftop deck, plus open rear decks at levels one through three. A garage at the back of the property that was demolished along with the residential building will be replaced by a three-car structure that will have a deck and a pergola on its roof, accessed by a steel stairway. Pro-Homes will handle their own general contracting assignment. The permit shows a reported construction cost of $1.4 million.

  1. Meanwhile, that mid century atrocity on the right still stands.

  2. Right! They demolished the wrong building. 🤔

  3. This building has been listed for sale for 2 years… likely had major issues.

  4. They demolished the wrong building is correct. Mid-century atrocity is being kind. Architectural garbage seems appropriate. Seeing the DePaul rowhouses across the street confirms they have leveled one of the final bits of the context for them on the northern side of Fullerton.
