Kathryn Shahbaz O’Brien is named as the architect of record, and Halo Masonry & Construction of Glenview, IL is listed as the general contractor. Few details about the buildings are included in the Chicago Data Portal. We know these will be built on slabs (no basements) and there will be off-street parking pads, but the number of spaces isn’t mentioned. The estimated construction cost for each building is $450,000.

It’s interesting to see improvements in that block since the building was demolished. A lot fewer boarded up windows.

Not that deep. It’s just a few blocks from the University.
A new construction building sold for $849k last month about 2 blocks away. This area is definitely headed toward economic change.
