A new construction permit has been issued for a two-unit residential building at 6410 South Vernon Avenue in Woodlawn. The permit was issued on November 20, after a standard plan review process that began on October 2. When complete, the property will stand two stories tall, and feature a two-car garage accessible from the alley.
Plans were designed by architect Kathryn Shahbaz O’Brien. The property owner is listed as Patrick O’Brien, and the total project cost is estimated at $350,000. So far, $375 in fees have been paid, with an outstanding balance of $3,252 remaining.
Transit nearby the property includes CTA Stations servicing the Green Line, as well as stops for a number of bus lines.
