A permit for new construction has been issued for a property located at 4740 West Addison Street in Kilbourn Park. The permit, which was applied for on July 2 and issued on July 17, allows for the construction of a three-story, six-unit residential building with a front patio at the first story, front balconies at the second and third stories, and six exterior parking spaces on a concrete pad.
The project was self-certified by architect John Hanna. The total fee for the permit is $11,135.42, with $5,879.42 paid towards building fees, $1,500 towards zoning fees, and $3,756 towards other fees. The reported cost of the project is $1,208,190. The owner of the property is Addison Cliff LLC.
When complete, 4740 West Addison Street will be a short walk from the Grayland Metra Station, which services the MD North Line Train.

I’m confused – this is a triple-wide lot. Are they only building on a portion of it?
I’d love it they removed the chain link fence, pavement, and the billboard. That is such an ugly intersection, I’m hoping this pushes things in the right direction.
