Permits have been issued for a new construction project at 1440 West Fillmore Street in Little Italy. According to filings, the five-story property plans to boast 50 dwelling units and feature an attached 25-car garage. At this time, there is not an estimated completion date for the property.
The project has an anticipated cost of $10 million, and is being developed by 1434 W Fillmore LLC. Victor Drapszo of Chicago is listed as the architect of record on filings. Total permit fees amount to $85,851.81, covering building, zoning, and other applicable charges.
When complete, 1440 West Fillmore Street will be located a short walk from stops for the 9, X9, 12, and 157 bus lines. It will also be a short walk from the Polk CTA Station, which services the Pink Line.
