The City of Chicago has issued construction permits for a new three-story frame building at 2743 West Lexington Street in Tri-Taylor. Led by owner Keith Ray and developed by Rayland Development Ltd, the project has an estimated budget of $190,000.
The property, which was designed by local architect Cesar Santoy, plans to boast three dwelling units when complete. In addition, it will feature a rear steel porch. Construction plans were approved on March 28.
When complete, 2743 West Lexington Street will be located steps from bus service for Routes 7 and 94. Beyond that, the Western CTA Station, which services the Blue Line, will be a short walk northeast of the property.
