A renovation project has been approved for the historic building located at 64 East Cedar Street in Gold Coast with the issuing of permits on March 20. This renovation, spearheaded by Gold Coast ETA LLC, will encompass an extensive interior remodel of the three-story masonry structure at the property, which boasts six residential units. The project has a budget of $800,000.
Designs were assembled by architect Victor Drapszo, and include the construction of a new rear wood porch, a second-floor rear roof deck, and a rooftop deck. Moneygall Enterprises LLC, the general contractor, is overseeing the renovation process. Masonry work is being handled by MN Construction Co Inc.
64 East Cedar Street is steps from stops for the 36 and 151 bus lines. Beyond that, the Clark/Division CTA Station, which services the Red Line, is a short walk to the north-west of the property.

Was definitely waiting to read that it was being torn down for a new Hanna build! 🤣
Whose is that? “Gold Coast ETA LLC” sounds like something some billionaire made up in order to conceal their identity.
Naw. This isn’t a billionaire type of property.
It’s probably a developer. And they’ll probably do the place up like some kind of suburban modern farmhouse. All black and white with bits of brass here and there.
