The City of Chicago has issued construction permits for a new residential development at 1936 North Kedzie Avenue in Logan Square. The three-story building, which plans to house four dwelling units, was approved on March 1.
Architect John Hanna was responsible for the design of the project. When complete, the property will feature front and rear balconies at the first story, a rooftop deck, and four exterior parking spaces.
Construction will be spearheaded by Reinventive Real Estate & Development Corporation. Masonry work will be conducted by R D Y Construction Inc and Tir Conaill Concrete Inc. The project’s budget is $1,376,760.
When complete, 1936 North Kedzie Avenue will be located steps from stops for the 73 and 82 bus lines. Beyond that, the California CTA Station, which services the Blue Line, will be a 19 minute walk to the north-east of the property.

Bet it looks like every other Hanna building
I would love YIMBY to interview John Hanna. I want to understand why it feels like he and/or his firm is/are the only architect in Chicago for smaller residential buildings
