The City of Chicago has issued permits for a new three-story residential building at 2325 North Leavitt Street in Bucktown. The project, which has an estimated construction cost of $1,219,710, will feature three residential units when complete. It will also include a basement, a rooftop deck, and a rooftop stair enclosure, offering residents outdoor and leisure space.
A key feature of the project is a detached three-car garage, which will include a rooftop deck. Beyond that, plans outline a rear terrace with stair access from the first story, a front balcony on the second story, and a rear porch with stairs on the second and third stories.
Architect John Hanna is spearheading the design of 2325 North Leavitt Street, and Diamond Partnership LLC is serving as the general contractor alongside R D Y Construction Inc.
When complete, 2325 North Leavitt Street will be a short walk from stops for the 49 and 74 bus lines. Beyond that, the Western CTA Station, which services the Blue Line, will be a 17 minute walk to the south of the property.
