A three-story brick building located at 1921 South Spaulding Avenue in North Lawndale is set for significant renovations following fire damage to one of its dwelling units.
The restoration project, which was submitted on January 23, was approved on February 23. It will involve the comprehensive interior remodeling of the unit, including the installation of new electrical systems, plumbing repairs, and HVAC system restoration.
The renovation has an estimated cost of $70,000. Adrian Dragomir, the owner, is listed as both the architect and contractor for the project. In addition, Ana Wolfe will also assist in architectural design of the renovation. ABD Consulting LLC expedited the permit process.
1921 South Spaulding Avenue is located steps from stops for the 52 bus line. Beyond that, the Kedzie CTA Station, which services the Pink Line, is also steps from the property.
