Construction Permits Issued For 2839 W Belmont Avenue In Avondale

The City of Chicago has issued construction permits for a new development located at 2839 W Belmont Avenue in Avondale. The project, which is being developed by Wilmot Construction Inc, will be five stories tall when complete and has an estimated total budget of $4,900,000.

The building, designed by architect John Hanna, will encompass 24 dwelling units, and will offer office spaces on the first floor. Residents and guests will have access to a 24-vehicle garage, also on the first floor. Additionally, the project permit outlines plans for a deck built on top of a portion of the garage and a rooftop stair enclosure. Units will feature front decks from the second to the fifth story and rear balconies from the third to the fifth story.

Wilmot Construction Inc is also serving as the general contractor for the project. Parkside Pro Electric Inc is tasked with all electrical installations, ensuring the building meets modern electrical standards. The masonry work for the structure is being handled by Advanced Masonry & Tuckpt. Co and Dexco Corporation.

When complete, 2839 W Belmont Avenue will be located steps from bus stops for Routes 77 and 94. Beyond that, The Belmont CTA station, which services the Blue Line, will be a 15-minute walk to the west of the property.
