The City of Chicago has issued a permit for the construction of a new three story residential building at 6540 S Minerva Avenue in Woodlawn. The building plan incorporates a rear patio, porch with stairs, and a parking pad accommodating two vehicles, including one accessible space.

Designed by architect John Hanna, the building will feature four residential units, including two Type A accessible units on the first floor. Aaron Collard, the owner, has appointed Greenline Homes LLC as the general contractor.

The project’s budge is $678,600, and permit fees for the development totaled $5,203.00. When complete, residents of 6540 S Minerva Avenue will be a seven-minute walk to the north from bus stops for the Route 63 line. Beyond those stops, the 63rd Street Metra station, which services the South Short Line Train, will be an 11-minute walk to the northeast from the property.
