Lake View‘s Wrigley Field at 1012 W Addison Street has seen the completion of a three-story, 22,000-square-foot sportsbook betting venue. This development follows the recent repeal of the sports betting ban and reflects a trend of major stadiums initiating their own betting operations.
The new building’s primary function is serving fast a venue for the DraftKings Sportsbook, the result of a collaboration between DraftKings Inc., The Chicago Cubs, Levy, and Marquee Development. Besides this betting component, the establishment will also operate as a restaurant and bar, offering food and beverages from Levy.
Designed by Gensler, the new wing features a modern facade with green-tinged I-beams that mirror the traditional style of Wrigley Field. Inside, a 2,000-square-foot video screen is installed, capable of displaying up to 25 games at the same time.
The site is located near several public transportation amenities, such as the Route 152 bus stop, the Addison station on the Red Line, and the Route 22 bus service within walking distance.
The project started in March 2022 at a cost of $9 million and with Pepper Construction as general contractor. Now with a completed exterior, the building’s design adheres to Wrigley Field’s historic guidelines, providing diverse seating options and unobstructed views. The operating hours of the facility will be released at its official opening.

Did they expand the sidewalk along Addison at all? It’s like 3 feet wide
Gross. No proper context. Pushes pedestrians into the street instead of letting a walkway near the stadium. Ricketts fail again.
I know, couldnt they have had the foresight to include this as a part of Gallagher Way or something? Just absolutely kills the vibe of that legendary corner.
