Construction at 5251 N Kedzie Avenue in North Park has received approval for a full building permit that was filed by Chicago Kedzie Self Storage LLC. This five-story, climate-controlled structure will replace what is currently a vacant lot.
This project, designed by Mark Sullivan, will be fully-sprinkled and come with an accessory office. As of now, drawings and renderings have not been revealed.
Employees and customers can access bus service for Routes 82, 92, and 93 within a 10-minute walk. Additional transit access includes the nearby Kimball and Kedzie CTA stations, serviced by the Brown Line.
Level Construction will handle the general contracting responsibilities for the project, which is reported to cost $5,200,000. As it stands, a definitive completion date for the project has yet to be announced.
