Three-Unit Residence Receives Permit at 1913 W Addison Street in Roscoe Village

A construction permit has been granted for a new residential building to be located at 1913 W Addison Street in Roscoe Village. The three-story multifamily project will accommodate three dwelling units and will replace a two-story frame residence. Andrew Kingsley is listed as the owner of the project.

Jesse M McGrath of McGrath Architects is the listed architect of record, whose submitted plans include features such as front and rear balconies, rear decks and stairs, rooftop deck space, and a new four-vehicle masonry garage with its own separate rooftop deck. As of now, no drawings or renderings have been posted.

In terms of transit accessibility, bus service for Routes 50 and 152 are both within a two-minute walking radius. Meanwhile, CTA Brown Line service can be accessed at Addison station via a two-minute walk east.

Simple Home Builders Inc. has been appointed as the general contractor for the project, with a reported construction cost of $200,000. As of now, an estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Agh, great, I’m pretty sure McGrath’s new construction projects wrap most of the building in cinderblock. I really hope this one doesn’t follow suit. I guess we’ll just helplessly wait and see!!
