These two separate addresses will each be a three-story, three-unit residence. The proposed development will feature second and third floor rear open decks, rear concrete patios, and rear garages (three-car for 6342 S Drexel Avenue and two-car for 6340 S Drexel Avenue).
The general contractor for the project is Crown Construction Company, and the architect is Charles E. Schwartz. According to the available data, there is no specific information regarding the design.
Woodlawn Station LLC’s development is situated near several public transit options. The nearest Green Line station is the Cottage Grove via a five-minute walk northwest. The area is also served by several buses including Routes 4 and 63, both within a three-minute walk.
At $700,000 in total cost, the project’s general contractor is Crown Construction Company. An anticipated completion date is not yet known.

These may not be glamorous developments, but in many respects they’re more significant than the skyscrapers being built. Filling in the vacant parcels on the south and west sides and rejuvenating those neighborhoods are what will enhance Chicago’s status a truly global city.
Agreed. While debate rages on about parking podiums and facade treatments, 2/3 of the city are being slowly rebuilt.
Chicago needs to eliminate parking minimums and increase the allowed density on the south side. We could rebuild everything along the green line and decrease crime within a decade of just building.
Washington Park & Woodlawn areas need a whole lot of filling/building to be done!
