The tower offers a range from one- to three-bedroom apartments, with select units featuring private terraces located on the podium. Eight of the apartments will be designated as affordable housing and located on premises, while another 22 units will be subsidized off site. Residents will enjoy a host of amenities, including a top-floor lounge and an open-air rooftop terrace, providing extensive views of the city skyline.

Designed by Pappageorge Haymes, the building’s facade is made up of interlocking rectangles that are outlined with metal paneling. These rectangular components either jut out or recede from view, adding contrast and texture to the exterior pattern.

For those who drive, the development offers 105 parking spots on site, as well as 180 spaces in an integrated bike room. Access to the project site is just a short walk from bus service for Routes 1, 3, 4, 12, 29, and 62 as well as the Roosevelt station for the Red, Green, and Orange Lines of CTA.

  1. As long as there is a garage this is a garage done right . Integrated well into the tower instead of being a squat base

Hey jack, please get a picture of the bike room if you can. I want to see what one of these new ones look like or is it just a box with an old school rack. My building has a hideous one. Thanks.

PS, I would really like to see what the Tribune Tower bike room looks like.

  3. This is one of the best projects I’ve seen in a while. And the units aren’t ridiculously expensive. Great Job team! Now build 10 more even better.

  4. Been fun to watch this and 1000M go up, both nice projects. Wonder when NEMA part deaux will go up?

  5. I’m on the waiting list. Can’t wait to move in.

  6. Jack – that time lapse is sick!

  7. The external elevator used during construction is gone as of last week as well.
