New permits were issued on Friday for an upcoming three-story masonry building located at 4611 S St. Lawrence Avenue in Grand Boulevard. The permit indicates that this project will involve three units, each outfitted with an open steel deck at the building’s rear. The floors will be connected by an egress stair that opens on a concrete patio on the ground floor. There will reportedly be a private roof deck and an accompanying three-vehicle frame garage on site. The lot is currently vacant and neighbors several recent developments.

Charles E Schwartz has been listed as the architect of the record. No drawings or renderings have been publically disclosed at this time.

The nearest bus available is Route 47 and it can be found at the 47th Street & St. Lawrence stop via a two-minute walk south. Route 4 is also near with access at the Cottage Grove & 46th Street stop via a six-minute walk northeast along 46th Street. For commuters seeking the CTA L, the Green Line can be accessed at the 47th Street station via a 10-minute walk southwest of the property site. There are a number of dining options available within a five-minute walk.

AMPW Developer Corp will act as the general contractor for the $380,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
