  1. Hi, I am confused about the location. The site shown (in street view and on the map) is at the corner of Ashland and Roosevelt. I see Google maps have it labeled as 224 S Ashland, but shouldn’t 224 S be between Adams and Jackson?

  2. Go west young real estate investors!

  3. The way they show the map address should be around 1151-1159 south Ashland, not 224 south…typo on YIMBYs end

  4. I think the address is correct, but Google is wrong (imagine that, Google being wrong!).

The real 224 S Ashland is/was a two-story office building with parking in the rear, on the west side of Ashland mid block between Adams and Jackson. The real 224 S Ashland is a lot of approx 20,000sf, which would accommodate the type of building described in the post. The fake 224 S Ashland (NE cor Ashland/Roos) would neither physically accommodate a building of the size described, nor permit it without a zoning change at that site.

  5. You rely way too much on Google. They tag it wrong. You even have the aide od rhe street wrong in your map. Even numbers are on the west of a street, not east. The actual location is the 2 story building right south of the Mexican Consulate.
