A permit was approved on Tuesday for a new two-story residential building to be located at 22 N Parkside Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. Adam Zegarski of A-Z Builders Inc is listed as the owner and the published plans show this project will produce three dwelling units, each outfitted with a rear metal porch. Plans also show the presence of three outdoor parking stalls. The project will be constructed on a vacant lot.
Andrzej Kacprzynski is listed as the structural engineer of record. At this time, there are no drawings or renderings that have been disclosed, though the filing description has indicated a masonry exterior.
Future residents can board the closest bus service which is Route 20. The bus can be accessed at the Madison & Menard stop via a three-minute walk west. Those hoping to ride the CTA L can find the Green Line at the Central station via an 11-minute walk north. There are many dining and shopping options within a five-minute walk south of W Madison Street. Those looking to enjoy green space will find Columbus Park via a five-minute walk.
A-Z Plus Remodeling Inc will act as the general contractor for the $450,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
