Permits were issued recently for a new three-story residential building located at 2049 N Clifton Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The lot is currently unoccupied. The permit owner is listed as 2049 N Clifton LLC, and the plans indicate that the project’s scope will include two dwelling units with a rooftop deck and a detached two-vehicle garage.
Christopher M Dasse is listed as the architect of record for the project. As of now, no drawings or renderings have been posted. However, we know this will be a masonry build with a brick exterior.
Future residents will access Route 73 bus service at the Armitage & Seminary stop via a four-minute walk south. The CTA Brown and Purple Lines can be boarded at the Armitage station via a six-minute walk southeast. This lot is highly walkable and very well situated for dining and retail options.
Winslow Development Group LLC will be acting as the general contractor behind the reportedly $2 million construction. A timeline or completion date for the project has not yet been released.
