A new permit was issued last week for the construction of a four-story mixed-use construction located at 1218 W Belmont Avenue in the Lake View neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as Belmont Development LLC and plans indicate there will be retail on the first floor, and six total units spread across the second through fourth floors. The building will have a roof deck and there will be an attached seven-vehicle garage.
Alexander Polichuk is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is anticipated.
Bus service for CTA Route 77 can be found at the Belmont & Racine stop directly across the street from the future build. The nearest CTA L Red, Brown, and Purple Lines can be found at the Belmont station via a six-minute walk east. There is a very active restaurant and shopping scene near the future building.
Heritage Builders LLC will act as the general contractor for the $1.68 million construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
