A new permit was issued this week for the construction of a four-story mixed-use construction located at 3612 N Cicero Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as Flavius Schiopu and plans indicate there will be retail on the first floor, and three total units spread across the remaining floors. Each of the units will be outfitted with a rear open porch, and the building will have a three-vehicle parking pad.
Mark P Miszuk is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, as previously stated we do know that a masonry exterior is anticipated.
Bus service for CTA Route 54 can be found at the Cicero & Addison which is one minute south from the future build. There are many retail and dining options nearby.
G7 Works LLC will act as the general contractor for the $500,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
