A permit was issued this past Thursday for a three-story residential building with a masonry facade at 6225 S St Lawrence Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The proposed project’s owner is listed as Damarcus Allen. The scope of the project details three total dwelling units and a three-car parking pad. The lot is currently vacant.
Bryan Hudson is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, as previously stated we do know that a masonry exterior is anticipated.
The CTA Green Line can be accessed at the King Drive station via a seven-minute walk west. The nearest bus available is Route 63 and it can be found at the 63rd Street & St Lawrence stop via a two-minute walk south. There are a number of grocery and dining options available within a five-minute walk.
RL Builders Custom Luxury Homes will act as the general contractor for the $500,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
