New Permits Issued for 2453 W Adams Street Near West Side

Street View of 2453 W Adams Street

A revised permit was issued earlier this week for a three-story residential building located at 2453 W Adams Street in the Near West Side neighborhood. Sustainabuild LLC is listed as the permit owner and plans indicate that this build will have three flats. The first floor will have a rear patio, while the second and third floors will have rear porches connected by stairs. The building will have an accompanying parking pad with four parking spots.

John Hanna is listed as the architect of record. At the time of this writing, no drawings or renderings have been disclosed. However, the plans show masonry contractors.

Future residents can readily access the CTA L Blue Line at the Western station via a six-minute walk south. The closest bus service available is Route 48 which can be found at Western & Adams via a two-minute walk east. There is an abundance of retail and dining options steps away from the planned project along S Western Avenue.

4 Star Builders Inc will act as the general contractor for the $681,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not been announced.
