A permit was approved on Thursday for a new two-story commercial building to be located at 3936 N Milwaukee Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood. The owner is listed under the name 3950 N Milwaukee Property LLC with plans that include two fully sprinklered medical offices, a new parking lot, and landscaping. The development will replace a paved lot.
Mark T. DiGanci is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been revealed at the time of this article.
Route 56 can be found in front of the future property at Milwaukee & Kilpatrick/Byron. The CTA L Blue Line is accessible at the Montrose station via an 18-minute walk northeast.
There are retail and dining options in the vicinity, located within a two-minute walk west along the N Cicero Street corridor.
DCS Midwest LLC will serve as the general contractor for the $4 million construction. Full timeline details and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
