Construction is nearing completion for a four-story mixed-use building, known as “The Mid,” located at 2423 W Fullerton Avenue in Logan Square. Sustainabuild is the developer behind the project, which includes ground-level retail, 21 total units, and a 21-car garage at the first floor. Outdoor space will include private balconies along the sides, as well as a rooftop deck.

John Hanna of Hanna Architects is behind the design, which includes multi-colored brick and large floor-to-ceiling windows. Part of of the exterior walls are also recessed to allow for the balcony space while adding texture to the facade.

The property is located within a minute’s walk of the Fullerton & Western intersection, with bus stops for Routes 49, X49, and 74. Other buses within a 15-minute walk include Route 76 to the north, Route 50 to the east, Route 73 to the south, and Routes 56 and 94 to the west. Those looking to board the CTA L Blue Line will find California station via a 12-minute walk southwest.

As far as green space, various options are available nearby, including Senior Citizens Memorial Playlot Park, Holstein Park, Park No. 556, and Haas Park. The Milwaukee Avenue commercial corridor is also readily available via a 12-minute walk west.

Progroup Development Inc. is serving as general contractor, while the Biazar Group is the broker for the units. Work for the $3,055,000 project expected to wrap up in the coming months.
