JPK Investments, LLC is the filing owner, whose plans comprise of six total dwellings and a six-car detached garage. Other features will include a trash enclosure and a pair of wood and iron fences. The new development will replace a vacant grass parcel.
No drawings or renderings have been published, though the filing description has indicated a masonry design for both the main building and the detached garage.
Nearest bus transit includes service for Routes 4 and 59 via a three-minute walk southwest to 61st Street & St. Lawrence. Additionally, stops for Route 2 are located a five-minute walk east, while stops for Route 3 can be found via a six-minute walk west. Closest CTA L service, meanwhile, is available at Cottage Grove station via a 12-minute walk southeast.
The property lies directly across 60th street from the 346-acre Washington Park, with an array of spaces including but not limited to several baseball/softball fields, open grass space, a pool, various tennis and basketball courts, and a sculpture garden.
Tomcon Corporation is the general contractor for the reportedly $500,000 construction. A full completion timeline has not yet been listed.
