Construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at 4736 N Ravenswood Avenue in Lincoln Square. With FEPH-Highland Park LLC as the listed owner, the project will yield 55 residential units and 36 on-site parking spaces. Planning documents show that the planned structure will occupy “Sub-Area C” in a three-part development bound by N Wolcott Avenue, W Lawrence Avenue, and N Ravenswood Avenue. The first part, “Sub-Area A,” is a completed single-story bank at the northeast edge of the property.
Charles Swanson of Humphrey & Partners Architects is the listed architect of record. Drawings included within the planning documents show a mixed-material facade with brick and fiber cement board cladding and metal accents.
The site lies in the midst of several transportation options, including east and westbound stops for Route 81 within a two-minute walk northwest to Lawrence & Wolcott. Additional bus service for Route 50 lies within a six-minute walk northwest to Damen & Lawrence. Those looking to board Brown Line trains can find Damen station via a six-minute walk southwest. Closest Red Line access, meanwhile, is a 19-minute walk east to Lawrence station, while closest Purple Line access is a 21-minute walk southeast to Wilson station. Lastly, availability for the Metra can be found directly adjacent to the parcel via Ravenswood station.
Future residents will find a variety of sports and recreational venues at Winnemac Park via a 12-minute walk northwest. Chase Park is also in the vicinity, via an eight-minute walk east.
William A. Randolph Inc. is the general contractor behind the construction, whose full completion timeline is not yet known.
