Construction permits have been issued for a three-floor residential building at 2938 W Lyndale Street in Logan Square, replacing a two-story single family home.
The site is located near the intersection of West Lyndale Street and N Sacramento Avenue, and is a three-minute walk southwest to the medium-sized Palmer Square Park, offering a running track and a playground.
Nearby bus transit includes a five-minute walk southeast to the California & Palmer stop for route 94 and a six-minute walk northeast to the Fullerton & Milwaukee stop for route 74. Accessible CTA L transit includes a five-minute walk east to California station, serviced by the Blue Line. Just past the California station is a variety of shops and restaurants via N Milwaukee Avenue.
The developer, listed as 2938 Lyndale LLC, is planning two residential units, a basement, a rooftop deck and trellis, and a detached parking garage for two vehicles.
The architect of record is John C Hanna of Hanna Architects. No renderings have been revealed yet, although masonry contractors listed in the permit indicate a stone or brick facade.
Bachula Development Inc is the general contractor for the $626,100 project. A completion date has not been listed.
