Permits were approved this week for a three-story residential building at 3012 N Leavitt Street in the West Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Located at the intersection of N Clybourn Avenue and N Leavitt Street, the corner lot is a 23-minute walk to the Paulina CTA L stations, serviced by the Brown Line. Newell Development is listed as the owner behind the applications, reporting $1,021,800 as the cost for the overall development.

The proposed development will consist of three-story, three-unit residential home with a basement, rooftop deck, and a detached three-car garage with an additional rooftop deck. The structure includes a masonry facade, trellis, and a rooftop stair enclosure. Details regarding height or square footage have not been released.

  2. 29 N Leavitt? The permit was issued for 3012 N Leavitt, not 29 N Leavitt… Which by the way is in North Center near Roscoe Village (but not in Roscoe Village).
