Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 4712 N Sheridan Road in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The interior lot is located between W Leland Avenue and W Lakeside Place. The nearest public transportation is the 151 CTA bus accessed at the Sheridan and Leland stop at the end of the block. Less than a ten-minute walk is the Lawrence CTA L station serviced by the Red Line. The site is also three blocks east of N Broadway Street, a busy commercial, retail, and nightlife corridor. Montrose Beach is a 20-minute walk away. 4714 N Sheridan LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Constructed with a masonry structural system, the building will have 27 residential units. Additional components of the project include 19 parking spaces and 24 bike spaces. The height and square footage of the development is currently unknown.
Christopher G Boehm of 360 Design Studio LLC is listed as the architect of record. Mavrek, Inc. is listed as the general contractor.
Demolition permits for the existing masonry building have not been filed. The current restaurant tenant will need to move out prior to demolition. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
