The renovation plan, whose exact timeline has not been mentioned, involves converting the pre-existing six-unit residential structure into an eight-unit complex, in line with the Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) program. Located at 2623 N Kimball Avenue in Logan Square, the occupying owner, Matthew Cremins, also plans to build out the building’s basement floor into a living space that will connect to the first-floor unit. It is unclear which floor the new unit will occupy, or how the interior will be partitioned in order to accommodate the new residence.
