Construction Has Begun On 2600 North Clark In Lincoln Park

Construction is underway for the new residential development at 2600 North Clark Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. ENC Construction is working on excavation and shoring for the future five-story, 48-unit building by Initium Development. The project replaces a single-story commercial building on a roughly trapezoidal lot at the northwest corner of Clark and Wrightwood Avenue where Dunlay’s On Clark, Dave’s Records, and other businesses once set up shop.

Revised Plans For 2600 North Clark Street Approved By City Council

The Chicago City Council has approved a mixed-use development at 2600 North Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Located just north of Wiener’s Circle at the intersection with West Wrightwood Avenue, we last covered the project earlier this year when updated plans revealed a reduction in both height and density from the original proposal made over a year ago.

Updated details have been revealed for the mixed-use proposal at 2600 N Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Located at the intersection with W Wrightwood Avenue, the wedge-shaped project would replace a long-vacant commercial building just south of Wiener’s Circle. The development is being led by Initium Development.
