First home on former Cenacle Retreat and Conference Center property has begun construction

The first new home on the site created by demolition of the former Cenacle Retreat and Conference Center in Lincoln Park has begun construction. The City of Chicago issued a permit on December 4, 2023 to build a three-story single family residence at 2338 N Cleveland Avenue.

Earlier this week, we showed you a pair of residential buildings that have been approved for the northern portion of the lot, along Fullerton Parkway. The Cleveland residence will stand on the east portion of the site.

The North Cleveland residence will be a 4,700-square-foot home with an attached garage, a basement, and a rooftop deck. It was designed by Beverly-based CMMR, and is being built by general contractor Savane Properties, with interiors by Devon Grace Interiors.
